About McDonald

Connie McDonald, APRN, CNP, is a certified family nurse practitioner at AIM Behavioral Health, providing addiction treatment and counseling to adults residing in and around Ashland.


Connie began her professional education at the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Ohio, where she earned her associate’s degree in nursing. She then enrolled at Chamberlain University: College of Nursing & Public Health in Downers Grove, Illinois, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing.


After graduation, Connie continued her education at Chamberlain University, where she earned her Master of Science in nursing and completed 500 practicum hours in family practice, serving patients of all ages.


Connie joined the team at AIM Behavioral Health in 2019, where she regularly collaborates with on-staff counselors to treat a wide range of mental health issues, including substance abuse.


To ensure positive treatment outcomes, Connie creates personalized care plans for each patient, which include various components such as prescription medication, talk therapy, and healthy lifestyle changes. 


Connie welcomes anyone seeking psychiatric care or addiction treatment to AIM Behavioral Health.
